Scotland's Golf Coast

Archerfield Dirleton

On coastal land that has hosted golf for over 500 years, DJ Russell has created the Dirleton Links.

Dirleton Links is an expression of a traditional Scottish links course with its sweeping fairways, deep, menacing bunkers and undulating dunes bordering the fairways. A golfer’s golf course.

The magnificent 17th century Archerfield House provides a majestic backdrop to Dirleton Links, adding to the unique historic spirit of the course. Challenging to play for all the right reasons, Dirleton calls for eagle-eyed accuracy, with gorse, bunkers, ditches and burns.

The not overly long par fives make life a little easier but anything astray on the back nine especially will cost strokes. Hit it nicely though, and the perfect greens are an absolute joy to putt on.
