Scotland's Golf Coast

Dunbar Golf Club

With a proud history stretching back to 1856, Dunbar was perfected over 150 years by three giants of the game, Old Tom Morris, James Braid and Ben Sayers.

A classic Scottish links course, Dunbar is blessed with a reputation for abundant sunshine. The course lives long in the memory of all who play it. Opening with two par 5’s and a par 3, it then hugs the coastline along a narrow strip of land within yards of the waves crashing onto the rocky shore. Stunning scenery and a welcoming clubhouse (with a new one soon to be opened) complete the experience.

In addition to being an Open Qualifying course, Dunbar has hosted the PGA Championship, Scottish PGA and Scottish Amateur. The Ladies Home Internationals and British Ladies Championships, as well as many Scottish Ladies events have been played over the links. Junior golfers are also regular visitors with Dunbar having hosted both the British Boys and Scottish Boys on numerous occasions.
